Do you like to play video games and your mom often tells you:
- You should wash the dishes -Put the clothes in the laundry machine
and you are always so bored to do all those things? Lee Wei Chen (the young man in the photo and inventor of the cool machine that invented it for a task of the London's Kingston's University) agrees with you and he found the solution for your problem. A video game- laundry machine. But you will ask me what is it and how does it works? The only thing that you have to do is: Put the clothes in, then put three coins and start playing. The three coins are the three lives that you have in the video game and for to finish the washing, according to the article " The gamer has to reach a certain level without losing their lives. If she/he doesn't, the washing machine will stop cold and not move to the next level, until more money is added.
        The reason I chose this article is because almost all the kids enjoy playing video games and almost all mothers have high expectations from their children about the house-hold's works and this is a combination of those two enjoyments and expectations. The thing that grabbed my attention is that if you lose your three lives you have to restart the game again resulting the machine to start again. It was interesting to read this article and it wanted to make me go there and ask for to play. In my opinion it is a great solution and he should think of selling it.

Scientists always event neat, fun and cool stuff and some of them will help us at the future. Different kinds of cars and airplanes were invented for our future transportation but have you ever heard of that? A helicopter that you actually sit on it! Isn't that amazing?  But how it will help? The answer is easy. For not to waste money and it is beneficial to the environment. The first advantage is that you land softly because of the yoga ball on the bottom of the helicopter. Also it can lift a lot of weight because it has sixteen propellers but it doesn't have all the machines that a normal helicopter has. According to the article the e-volo has battery power and can be controlled just like a video game. With joystick. Other advantages of the e-volo is that it is safer than normal helicopters, it has a safety parachute  and it is ultra light. The only disadvantage that it has is that it can't be used more than half an hour.  For each 'ride' it costs you only 16 dollars so when they finish building it you should give it a try. 

I chose this article because in now days economy in a lot of countries isn't going well and that might be a solution for the future transportation. Also the photo looked really interesting and the way they built it looks kind of funny. I believe it is real because they have photos and a video so it is a proof. It was really interesting reading this article and learning how many neat stuff are invented today and most of them from simple people. The e-volo is really smart and you can save a lot of money for transportation (like gas that cars use) but the disadvantage is that it can't be used for long and lengthy distances.

We all know Mercury, the smallest planet of all and the closer to the sun. We also know that it is uninhabitable because it doesn’t have atmosphere or iron care. But something changed scientists’ mind. A spacecraft was send by NASA to Mercury and the pictures that it took are unbelievable. They shot some puddles, near 60-120 feet deep, that were found inside the craters and there is a possibility that they are fresh. From those pictures scientists now say that it might be not as uninhabited as we thought and that the creatures that might live there can’t be seen with our eye. According to the article “What makes ‘Swiss cheese’ depression unique, is that this is the first time they have been found on a rocky surface. While Mars has similar hollows, they are present only in the carbon dioxide ice hat covers the planet’s South Pole” but they are not yet sure what is creating that.

  

                           The reason I chose this article is because for a lot of years Mercury was thought to be uninhabited and later some photos made them think the possibility of life in this planet. The title was very distracting and that make me read the article and it came out really interesting. Through this article I learned that hollows are formed in surfaces with carbon dioxide and what is happening is really infrequent. Scientists, in my opinion, did a great job researching the whole theme and they shouldn’t quit even if they don’t find anything but I am sure they will find something. It was really interesting to read that another life might exist far far away from us and who knows how long they existed and we had complete no idea.

If they find something will our life change and our biosystem or what else will happen?

Everybody asks themselves what are we going to do in the future when we run out of certain forms of energy? But experts have the solution: we will have fuel cells to create energy. But what is a fuel cell? A fuel cell, according to this article, “Is a device that uses a source of fuel, such as hydrogen, and oxidant to create electricity from an electrochemical process.” This is amazing isn’t it? As all fuel cells work and have the same basic configure it will work like batteries. Based on the experts’ investigations and knowledge it might work also with the combination of fuel and an oxidant. If you use diesel or methanol or other natural sources it doesn’t really matter. In the future we will use fuel cells like real fuel to power our future cars. It will also power our cell phone and other electrical devices and they can also be used for to provide clean and reliable source for hospitals and other important buildings that consume a lot of energy. This fuel cell it is not only good a power saver source but it is also healthy for your health.

I chose this article because in those days we cause a lot of problems, like humans, for example burning forests and cutting down trees that limit the power that we can take and ruins our own habitat. This is a very good solution for the future that may solve a lot of problems. The title “Fuel cells” is really interesting because it is a new idea. I learned that as years pass and the problems are getting much bigger every year that is an excuse for to make new machines that actually improve us and solve the problems that we made. It is really nice to see that people care about you and all the people all over the world and don’t just sit down in a chair and say  “ They did it is not my fault, the fix it” or “I can do nothing”.  It was pretty much interesting to read this article because (as I mentioned again) it is a new idea and you don’t usually hear or see something like this every day.

Dirt: the movie

Movie summary:
Dirt is allover the place, in the ground you are stepping on, in your food, even in you body. We are basil made from the 5 same elements that Earth is made of. Dirt is very much alive. It might be more alive than we are. About 4.5 billion years ago Earth was a fire ball made from rocks, it turned into this kind of Earth we know today but when humans came everything changed about Earth. Dirt is is precious because it keeps our biosphere clean. But what makes dirt? Dirt is made from Mysilioum but dirt includes other living things like worms and fungi and that makes actually dirt living. Everything is recycled water and soil. The water we drink now it is pee of dinosaurs and the soil is poop of animals. A lot of religions believe that God made us from dirt (we are dirt). In countries dirt is a multiplied used material and without clean dirt we would survive extreme climate events. Did you know that you create desert wherever you are? Agriculture is basically a war between soil and us. But does it really affects only dirt? Dirt, people and other living organisations are a big chain and if you destroy the first part of the chain everything splits into little pieces. You ruing soil, people have nowhere to plant their food and then they leave the region for other places. They don't have clean water but some of them don't even have water because of the ruin of the soil. People say it is really nice too dig in the dirt because it makes you fell closer and closer to Mother Nature. So everything is based on soil

CYCLOP SHARK APPEARS TO BE LEGIT

Near the Cerralvo island in the Gulf of California a fisherman caught a pregnant shark accidently. When they opened the mom’s stomach they saw nine little Cyclops sharks and because of this all scientists are impressed. It was twenty-two inch long with a single eye! All animals that are born with one eye die after a day but this is the exception. They have never caught and seen something like this but if they are more in the world they don’t have much time to live. 

I chose this article because it was really interesting because something like this is never found. The tittle grabbed my attention because Cyclop things are only in stories. In this site they had more interesting articles and videos and news but in my opinion this one was the best to grab anybody’s attention. We can learn through this article that Cyclop things exist but only for one day after their born. It is a really interesting part of sea life and in my opinion scientists should investigate it deeper. The photos are amazing and they seem real. It was a really strange feeling while I was reading the article because it made me feel both scared and interested. This invention may change some scientific thoughts of the way Cyclopes stories are made up in mind because they might be real with all those signs. Two questions came up in mind while I was reading the article: Was the mom also a Cyclop shark and what kind of shark it is?

LUNGLESS FROG !!!

Frogs, the little creatures that make your life easier by eating bees and other animals like that are animals that belong to the Amphibian kingdom. All of them have the characteristics that all living things have: breath, eat, move, grow etc. But all of them? A lungless frog was found in a cold water steam on the island Boreo in Indonesia. It breaths but not through the lungs, that he does not have, but through his skin. This amazing creature is called Barbourula Kalimantanesis. A fisherman found it accidently while he was fishing at the cold water. This kind of frog had been found once again before 15 years but none did something for this. Actually scientists and biologists do not want to sacrifice and dissection it because they believe it is precious. The reason that it can breath through his skin is because it has low metabolism.

I chose this article is because amphibians is an interesting section of biology and I though it is nice to learn new things that involves everything in this planet. The thing that grabbed my attention is the part that says that it was found also 15 years ago but they did not sacrifice it. It was one of the most interesting articles but I preferred this one because I like frogs and I also now it is valid because it would be weird to come up with something scientific that does not exist because they know that many people depend on this source. Now I know that it has a low metabolism and it does not need much oxygen. In my opinion they should dissect the frog because they might have learned a lot of things, for example what it is on its skin that it can breath through it. I have never thought or heard  that something like this could ever exist but now I believe on it and I think it is a really important information for scientists.
