  Astronomers recently discovered a new planet, larger that Jupiter that orbits  a star 500 light years from Earth. It's so obvious that astronomers don't even need a super telescope and even beginners can see it with a normal telescope. The planet it's called TrES-2 because according to the article, " it is the second such planet found by scientists working on the Trans-Atlantic Exoplanet Survey (TrES)". The transiting planet is easy to observe and answer question about them but only if you know math and relationships to its star!? This planet is made up by gas and it is so hot that there is no possibility for life because there is 1,500 Celsius. Scientist may send an instrument on a mission to space and the new found planet will help them to see if their instruments work because they already know so much about the planet.
      I chose this article because in science we are at the astronomy unit so I found it interesting because it is not usual to discover new planets. The thing that grabbed my attention is that it is really, really hot there and they are truly no possibilities for life there! I learned that there was another planet that was found before some years and that transiting planets are easy to observe. The site that has this article is really reliable and I know it is true. It was really interesting reading this article and learning so many things about this planet. This is affecting scientific knowledge because there might be life there and it will be really awesome if there is actually.

Are you always feeling guilty when you print a lot of stuff and you waist so much paper or when you print a sentence in a huge paper sheet? Well the London-based design firm, Ben, found the solution to your feeling! A mini printer. But what is so amazing about that? The answer is easy. The only thing you have to do is connect the mini printer to a internet connection and download the application on your mobile phone. Then, when you go to page or when you receive an e-mail or a message the only thing you have to press is send, in the top of your screen (that it will always be there) and then the mini printer will print it. You can also connect it with anything else you want but you need to have the application. You can also send messages to other mini printers. The good thing about this new printer is that it doesn't use as much paper, it doesn't use ink (the heat that it takes it turns it into ink) and you now don;t have any more any excuses when you miss birthdays or events! This smart printer will come out approximately in 2012 but they don't know yet the price that you will have to pay to buy it.
I chose this article because recycling is a big global problem those days and we really don't have trees, money and paper to waste. The thing that grabbed my attention and that I liked most is that it doesn't  use ink (this is a really smart way not to waste also ink). I learned that heat can turn into ink and I was pretty much impressed. It was really interesting reading this article and watching the video because it is so good for the environment and I have never thought that someone can invent something like this.

All About Giraffes

All About Giraffes

Giraffes (or Giraffa Camelopardalis) are one of the most interesting animals for me. Everybody know them but not as well as they could. Read the following and you will learn all the thing you didn't know about giraffes The giraffe's defense mechanism is pretty interesting. She/he lives usually with a flock so in each 'battle' every single individual must be 'aware' of the danger because they can hit the person or animal ,that is trying to attack, with great speed and force. Also they can kick pretty hard so you should be aware! Giraffes are not predators. Te eat leaves from the trees and they don't have any problem (obviously) reaching them because of their long, long neck which is 6 feet tall (although some giraffes have reached the high score to 10 feet)  Also they don't have any of water for some days because they obtain water from the leaves. Isn't that amazing!? Giraffes leave in herds because they need each other for defense and they leave no more that 25 years. One last thing to know is that they are often hunted by animals and people but it is not so usual from animals.

Have you ever thought about aliens' existence? I am pretty sure you have. To support your thought scientists think they have found two alien skeletons is one of their excavations but they are not 100% sure if it is really an aliens' skeleton. The weird thing is that they were found on Earth (obviously) but we always thought they leaved on space science ever we know space. Maybe the leave on Earth in a mysterious place... who knows. But why we have never seen them? The skeletons were discovered in Peru, South America by Renato Davila Requelme and other two anthropologists and as they say the skulls are 20 inc big and they have large eyes just like we think they are. After examinations of the skeletons the three anthropologists think that it doesn't have so many similarities to the human skeleton and that is why is so unusually alien. At the same time other anthropologists have another opinion about the found skeletons; they believe they are from old times, when the skull where different for example Native Americans. 

 I chose this article because aliens are some creatures that we don't really can tell about their existence so it is mysterious to all of us.  Everybody would like to read an article with this title, and this is also the reason I chose it. The thing that grabbed my attention is that they are a lot of answers to the question if they are really alien remains but in my opinion they will find the solution and I am sure for that. This article is allover the internet so I believe that it is true and they didn't made it up from their mind. I really want them to be remains from aliens, because I would be so happy if the mystery of a hundred years old would finally be solved.

Yearly Population Growth Of Rabbits Graph

So this is a graph of the number of rabbits that each year we will have. Each year the rabbits will double because the mother and the father have two children one boy and one girl and the boy or the girl. One of the children can reproduce with a member of the family (brother or sister, mother or father it doesn't matter) and they will give birth to two more rabbits and this pattern will go on and on till they die.

Do you like to play video games and your mom often tells you:
- You should wash the dishes -Put the clothes in the laundry machine
and you are always so bored to do all those things? Lee Wei Chen (the young man in the photo and inventor of the cool machine that invented it for a task of the London's Kingston's University) agrees with you and he found the solution for your problem. A video game- laundry machine. But you will ask me what is it and how does it works? The only thing that you have to do is: Put the clothes in, then put three coins and start playing. The three coins are the three lives that you have in the video game and for to finish the washing, according to the article " The gamer has to reach a certain level without losing their lives. If she/he doesn't, the washing machine will stop cold and not move to the next level, until more money is added.
        The reason I chose this article is because almost all the kids enjoy playing video games and almost all mothers have high expectations from their children about the house-hold's works and this is a combination of those two enjoyments and expectations. The thing that grabbed my attention is that if you lose your three lives you have to restart the game again resulting the machine to start again. It was interesting to read this article and it wanted to make me go there and ask for to play. In my opinion it is a great solution and he should think of selling it.

Scientists always event neat, fun and cool stuff and some of them will help us at the future. Different kinds of cars and airplanes were invented for our future transportation but have you ever heard of that? A helicopter that you actually sit on it! Isn't that amazing?  But how it will help? The answer is easy. For not to waste money and it is beneficial to the environment. The first advantage is that you land softly because of the yoga ball on the bottom of the helicopter. Also it can lift a lot of weight because it has sixteen propellers but it doesn't have all the machines that a normal helicopter has. According to the article the e-volo has battery power and can be controlled just like a video game. With joystick. Other advantages of the e-volo is that it is safer than normal helicopters, it has a safety parachute  and it is ultra light. The only disadvantage that it has is that it can't be used more than half an hour.  For each 'ride' it costs you only 16 dollars so when they finish building it you should give it a try. 

I chose this article because in now days economy in a lot of countries isn't going well and that might be a solution for the future transportation. Also the photo looked really interesting and the way they built it looks kind of funny. I believe it is real because they have photos and a video so it is a proof. It was really interesting reading this article and learning how many neat stuff are invented today and most of them from simple people. The e-volo is really smart and you can save a lot of money for transportation (like gas that cars use) but the disadvantage is that it can't be used for long and lengthy distances.
