Reaction 1:
glue+boron+ water= GAK
In class we did two awesome reactions. The first one we created GAK by adding water (that had baking soda in it) to glue and then boron. I observed that at the first part of the reaction where we add water to the glue that as we stir it, it gets thinker and starting to get sticky. When we added the boron and stirred it for a while, it became very sticky, thick, bouncy and stinky. This is a reaction because there is a change in the matter- from liquid it became solid through covalent bonding
Reaction 2:
cu2+so4+zn(s)=cu(s)+ zn2+so4
The second cool excrement, we saw that the zink becomes darker, bubbles are created and it dissolves. This is a reaction because the matter changed color.
